Workshop 01

Our first workshop was a sort of introduction into paper, sounds silly but it was a way of getting us used to the was paper can fold and the shapes that can be made by scoring and folding.It was interesting to see the shapes that could be made out of paper which i didn't think was as easy to make as they actually were.  

One of the first shapes we made, was when we folded paper into a 'YoYo'/ Spinning top shape, it was a lot simpler that in looks, firstly we have to cut out a circle and the cut a line from the edge of the circle to the middle, this enabled the paper to be folded into a sort of cone shape, then the next shape was done in a similar way but the centre of the circle had another fold in the centre which created a cone inside the cone, which the first could slot into, below are the two shape before made tighter and put together.
